65, of Jupiter went to be in the arms of the Lord on November 16, 2012.
Jay was a lifelong educator, teacher, and administrator in Clay, Volusia, and Palm Beach Counties.
Jay will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 23 years, Cheryl; his sons Jay J Alligood, Jr. and his wife Chantelle, Bryan Alligood; step son John M. Wilson; step daughter Kelli Nutini and her husband Brian; his loving mother Virginia Martin; his sisters Elizabeth Gregory and Alice Sheckells; his brother Merrill “Butch” Alligood; and his 8 grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
