John Webster Hughes passed away March 3rd 2021 at the age of 88. John was born in Stamford Ct in 1933. John attended the Ben Lippen School and received his BA from Taylor University in Indiana and went on to have a lengthy career in Residential and Commercial real estate management both in New York City and Florida.
John is survived by his beautiful loving wife of 39 years, Emily Hughes, his sister Gail Galli, and wonderful extended family of kids and grandchildren.
John was such a kind and witty man, stubborn and generous to a fault to all that knew him, and many more who didn’t. He spent a good part of his life giving back to those in need, both here and abroad. John was very active at First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach, were he served as an Elder and were he did endless missionary work.
John always had a cheerful attitude and bright smile that will be missed by many.
