John Rogers Myers

John Rogers Myers of Jupiter, Florida, and Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, died on July 13, 2014 in Jupiter surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was 86. Born on February 10, 1928, in Brookline, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Elsie Clay Rogers and Norman John Myers.

John grew up in New Hampshire, Boston and New York City, attended the Boston Latin School, and graduated with the class of 1949 from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Loving husband of Patricia Marjorie Myers, they lived in Greenwich, Connecticut, for over 30 years and have been residents of Jupiter, Florida, since October, 1993.

Founder of Myers Publishing Company, Inc., a publisher of trade journals including Chemical Purchasing and Art Business News. An active member of the Jonathan’s Landing community and club, he was a golf enthusiast, an avid traveler and enjoyed many, many happy times with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by Children: John H. Myers, Miami, FL, Elizabeth Myers Imphong, Alexandria, VA, Caroline Myers Taufic (William), Darien, CT, Grandchildren Anna Elizabeth Just, Camilla Noel Taufic, Caroline Augusta Taufic, Emma Elizabeth Imphong, Elizabeth Anne Imphong.

Private family services will be held. Online condolences may be made at Arrangements entrusted to Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, Jupiter.

So sorry for your loss, there are so many nice memores of your time in Lyon Farm when we got together to celebrare importan hollidays. We had such a good time in Saratoga with the horses and so many other nice gadering time.
