

Jose was born on April 23, 1955 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Fiordaliza Carbuccia de De Jesus and Dr. Armando De Jesus Moreno. Since early childhood Jose was driven to become a doctor. Medicine was his passion. He first graduated in 1972 from the catholic school Colegio Dominicano De La Salle. Then pursued medicine at Pedro Henriquez Urena University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He graduated from the school of medicine in 1979. Jose continued his studies abroad, obtaining a residency in Anesthesiology at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey and graduated as an Anesthesiologist in 1985. Jose then relocated to Florida in 1985 and practiced as an Anesthesiologist in different hospitals in Palm Beach and Jupiter. In 1999 he became independent creating his own company. It was then when Jose felt he found his dream job, offering anesthesia services to a group of surgeons for whom he worked for 18 years until his retirement in 2017.
Jose was loved by the surgeons he worked for, always striving for excellence. He appreciated the nurses, finding words to compliment them. Jose was caring, gentle and professional gaining the patients’ trust with his charisma. He enjoyed going on vacations with his family, and was an avid cyclist. Jose was a devoted catholic, loved the beach, to watch programs that involved history and the wonders of nature and animal kingdom.
Jose is survived by his daughter, Angela Joan De Jesus; his son, Joseph Paul De Jesus of whom he was very proud of; his sisters, Fior Breslaw and Margarita de Franco; brothers in law, Steve Breslaw and Mario Franco as well as nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Armando De Jesus and Fiordaliza de De Jesus and his older brother, Jesus De Jesus.
Jose had very dear friends that always loved him and joined the family to support him in his life journey. He was also surrounded by his unconditional caregivers, Carlos, Humberto and Daniel; Mildred the church volunteer; Colleen the cleaning lady; the physical therapists Travis and John at Jupiter Medical Center; the Neuroscience team at the Holy Cross and the team at the Coastal Family Practice & Internal Medicine to whom we give thanks from the bottom o our hearts.
Jose was a man of faith. During his illness he became even closer to God. Jose will be always remember and deeply missed. May he rest in peace.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A Funeral Service will occur in the funeral home at 6:00 pm.
