

Joseph Bologna, 77, of Jupiter Florida, passed away on Thursday, June 30th, 2022. His wife was by his side when he drifted off to be with the Lord. He was born to Salvatore and Giacoma Bologna of Castellammare Del Golfo Sicily on April 15th, 1945.
He immigrated to the United States when he was a young boy and moved with his family to Brooklyn, New York. Joseph was a Vietnam Veteran that honorably served in the United States Army. Joseph also resided and raised his family in Staten Island, NY and moved to Barnegat, NJ in 2007.
Joseph worked as a Data Management Supervisor for CitiBank for 18 years. He was an expert in horticulture and gardening. This was evident as his garden was filled with sunshine and beauty. Joseph was a jack of all trades who could build or fix anything from cars to homes.
He was a family man who loved playing with his grandchildren.
Joseph is survived by his wife Joann Bologna. Joseph and Joann met in Brooklyn, NY in 1969 and were married and distinctly in love for 49 glorious years.
Joseph is also survived by his sisters Sara Armenia and Anna Adovasio; his daughters Jacqueline Kolanovic, Candida Aimi, Melissa Spina and Alison Lo Savio; his grandchildren Sofia, Layla, Victor, and Joseph Kolanovic, Thomas and Giulianna Spina, and Sienna Aimi; his son-in-laws Frank Kolaniovic, Justin Aimi, Thomas Spina and Gary Lo Savio.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter FL 33458. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022 at 10:00AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1701 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter, FL 33458.
