Joyce Marie Goff Soares, age 83, passed away at home on January 21, 2022, surrounded by her children. She was born in Fall River, MA on June 29, 1938 to John Joseph Goff and Alberta L. Renaud. She married Jerry Soares at St. Louis Church in Fall River in 1962 and they raised 3 wonderful children. Joyce volunteered and worked at St Clare Catholic School for over 20 years.
Joyce is survived by her son, Stephen and wife Denise of Menlo, GA; her daughter, Mary Beth of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; her son, Kevin and wife Jennifer of Woodland Hills, CA; her grandchildren, Blake Soares and wife Erika of Winder GA, Alexandra Winslow and husband Darren & grandchildren Avery Devens and Victoria Winslow of Cartersville GA; her sister-in-law, Mary Beth Soares of Mattapoisett, MA and her cousin, Pat Bernard of Rhode Island.
A celebration of life will be held at Cathedral of Saint Ignatius Loyola on Wednesday January 26, 2022 at 2:00pm. A post funeral reception will immediately follow at Aycock-Riverside Funeral Center in Jupiter, Florida, from 3-5pm
