Kent R Morrison, 56 passed away on May 20, 2020. He was born in Detroit, MI on November 23, 1963; the son of the late Henry “Hank “and Jean Morrison.

Kent graduated from Gold Coast Christian School, class of 1981. He married Kelly Morrison on October 1, 2016. He was employed as an Office Manager at Martino Commercial Tires for the last 3 years, but has worked with the team there for over 20 years.

Kent most enjoyed spending time with his family, especially their trips to Walt Disney World. He took great joy in experiencing WDW again through the eyes of his daughter. Kent’s other favorite past time was sports. We knew that during the fall, weekends were his favorite time to park himself in front of the TV and watch football and hockey, especially if the University of Miami was playing. He rarely missed a game. Sunday’s were spent in front of the NFL Redzone channel keeping up with all the games going on that day. Kent is survived by his wife, Kelly Morrison; a daughter, Kaitlyn Parsons; a sister, Kim (Jeff) Bowdren; a nephew, Andrew Poe-Bowdren and a niece, Kellie Cohn (Brandon).

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, 1040 Woodcock Rd, Suite 119, Orlando, FL 32803 or use the link www.kidneyfl.org/donate . If mailing a check, please include a note letting them know this is in Kent’s honor.

Kent (aka Bubblehead) and I were best friends for 25+ years. We shared so many stories, laughed, cried, and both just being silly & crazy. He was a ray of sunshine in my life. He was part of our family and have great memories with him, shared vacations and just simply spending time together. We all had such a great time, just laughing and being silly. I will also will miss his crazy FaceTime phone calls just singing songs and making faces, that always made my day!! I will always cherish those memories.

Kelly and Kaitlyn were a blessing in his life and he loved them so much. He would call me and tell me stories from their trips to Disney and he was always so happy. He would tell me stories about Kaitlyn and her accomplishments and how proud he was. Also shared stories about his puppy Dakota, who came from a liter of our dogs, I always laughed so much, because Dakota would lay on his head when they were watching tv. He loved him very much, that was his buddy.

Bubblehead had a HUGE HEART and was one of the most caring, lovable and kindest human being, I've ever met in my life.

I am honored to have been in his life and allowing me to be his BFF. He will always be in my heart and in my thoughts. RIP Bubblehead.

Kent was an incredibly thoughtful human being and I was incredibly blessed to have such a great friend and brother...
We worked together and spent years in the same office. He taught me a lot about the job and life mostly by example.
I’m so sorry for the loss and prayers for the family from a dear friend ❤️

I met Kent in 1989, we both started work together at about the same time.
Kent was instrumental in all phases of the business. Kent's knowledge of the products we handled, his demeanor with our customers were indisputably the best, our customers loved him as all of us did.
I called him "Radar O' Reilly" (from the hit television show Mash) because I would be asking him a question and he would be giving me the answer before I could finish, or I would ask him to order something for a customer and he would tell me he already did.
Kent was really amazing, when he turned ill, it took (3) people in the office to do what Kent did as a normal procedure.
I will really miss the big guy.

Very sorry for your loss. I worked with Kent many years ago at Elpex Tire. He was the sweetest, kindest, person in the office. He would help anyone. I didn't stay long and hadn't seen him until he married another sweet, kind person Kelly from the Girl Scouts! I couldn't believe it, these two wonderful people found each other! I wish we could ask God to give him back to you because this shouldn't happen to wonderful people like you. I will not make the service, but may he always be by your side and in our hearts forever. Goodbye Friend!

Kelly - I was terribly sorry to learn of Kent's death. Even at a time of such unexpected sadness, love and memories endure and they will stay with you forever. I hope you can hold fast to your memories of Kent and are able to surround yourself with the love of friends and family during this difficult time. Jamie
