Kevin Patrick Doyle

Kevin Patrick Doyle, son of the late Edward and Thelma Doyle, was born on July 11, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Trinity High School before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University.

Kevin was a proud veteran who honorably served in the United States Navy from 1971-1974; he continued his service in the Naval Reserve from 1974-1982. He was a financial analyst for Pratt & Whitney for 26 years working on programs supporting the F-14 and F-16 fighter aircraft engines, and the United States space program.

He volunteered at the VA Medical Center and Friends of Fisher House where he continued to serve and support military veterans and their families. A devout Catholic and man of deep faith, Kevin lived his life with a strong sense of service, patriotism, and devotion to those he loved. He was a loving father and grandfather, an avid traveler, and a man whose friendship and presence touched many lives.

Kevin is survived by his two daughters, Maura Mikals and Kristin Doyle; his beloved granddaughter, Eleanor Grace Mikals; his sister, Mary Ruth Bottom; his two nieces, Meghan Bottom and Emily Mullikin; and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Kevin’s life will be held on September 29th at 12:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, 9999 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Family and friends are invited to join us for Mass and to gather afterward as we come together to remember, honor and celebrate Kevin’s life. A second Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky, in early October, with the date and time to be announced. Following the Mass, Kevin will be laid to rest with full military honors and a 21-gun salute, a final tribute honoring his service, sacrifice and life.

Rest in peace, Dad. Your faith, strength, and love will remain with us always. You will live on in our hearts forever.
