Kimberley, “Kim” or “Kimmy”, Luff McAfee was a beautiful and fiercely caring mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, and soon to be grandmother. She left this world unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on December 26th, 2021 at age 60.
Kim was born to Martin and Mary Ellen Luff on May 18th, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the oldest of five Luff children. After graduating from Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, Kim continued on to earn her Nursing Degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia.
Kim is survived by her three children Mary Kathleen McAfee, Kerianne McAfee (David) Point, Patrick Joseph (Hannah) McAfee, her mother Mary Ellen Luff, her siblings Marty Luff, Greg Luff, Michele Borislow, Mary Ellen Hyatt, and former husband Michael James McAfee.
Kim had many passions in life, but most importantly was her love of motherhood and raising her three children. In addition, she worked various nursing positions with a particular passion for preventative and women’s healthcare. Kim loved spending time with her family, especially in the summer, at the beach in Brigantine, New Jersey. She also loved visiting her children in Charlotte and Boston, watching the Philadelphia Eagles with her sisters in Palm Beach, and playing pickle ball and tennis with her dearest friends.
Kim was known for her contagious smile, vibrant personality, and radiating kindness. Without hesitation, Kim opened her arms to others and loved them as her own. She will be forever missed by all who knew her.
Please join us to celebrate Kim’s life with a mass on Thursday, December 30th, 2021 at 10am. St. Patrick's Catholic Church located at 13591 Prosperity Farms Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.
