Margaret B. Abel, 81 of Jupiter, FL passed away on September 5, 2018 at The Waterford in Juno Beach. She was born in New Zion, SC on March 11, 1937; the daughter of the late William E. and Ava M. Baker.
Margaret was educated in the SC school system, graduating from East Clarendon High School. She married Frederick Abel on December 28, 1963 and together they shared 55 years of marriage. Margaret was a Vail Valley Community Fund volunteer for 18 years; she enjoyed playing tennis, boating, gardening and was a great cook.
She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Abel; a son, Michael Abel and his wife Tania; a daughter, Christie Abel; a granddaughter, Alyssa Abel and two grandsons, Ing and Emmitt Abel.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is predeceased by a brother, W. E. Baker, Jr.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s name to Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation, 5300 East Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
