

Marilyn J. Quinn, 87, of Jupiter, Florida, formerly of Plandome and Quogue, New York, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025. Born in Bayside, Queens, she was the daughter of Gladys E. (Willett) and Peter Danilek.
Marilyn graduated from The Mary Louis Academy and Dean College in Massachusetts. She owned and operated a successful interior design and antiques business in Queens for many years. She met her husband, William E. Quinn Sr., while they were both attending postgraduate courses at C.W. Post College. They married in 1961 and shared more than 63 years of devoted marriage. In 1995, Marilyn and Bill retired to Jupiter, where they became longtime members of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, William E. Quinn Sr.; their four sons, William E. Quinn II and his wife Cathy, Daniel P. Quinn, Matthew P. Quinn and his wife Annie and Mark S. Quinn and his wife Amber. Marilyn was the proud and loving grandmother to Christine, Meghan, Brendan, Sean, Ryan, and Molly.
Marilyn will be remembered not only for her elegance, creativity, and devotion to her family, but for her extraordinary warmth. She always treated others with kindness and had a gift for making people smile. Her presence radiated positivity and joy—she had the best smile, and her eyes smiled too.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center,1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 13591 Prosperity Farms Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, followed by a private cremation.
