He graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School. Mark spent the next 24 years working as a Marine Engineer and then went onto owning his own business in Marine Mechanics, Source Marine LLC, for the last 6 years. Mark married Melissa Hitt on October 6, 2018. He loved to fish, surf and grill. He was a big dog lover and loved his family and friends.
Mark is survived by his wife, Melissa Hitt; parents, Don and Ruth Polak; brother, Matthew Polak; grandmother; Vera Polak; step-children, Mary and Ryan Hitt and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Paul Polak; grandfather, John Polak and uncle, Arthur Sawitsky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
