

Mary grew up in Wilkes-Barre and married Frank Ciavarella, the love of her life in 1949. Together they enjoyed a wonderful marriage for 40 years until Frank’s death in 1989.
She is survived by four adoring children, a son, Frank Ciavarella (Mollie); three daughters, Judy Roedel (Sean), Maria Martin (Phil), and Carol Hahn (David); nine grandchildren, Matthew, McKinley, Kara, Nicholas, Ryan, Jenelle, Erik, Allison and Megan; six great-grandchildren, Luke, Mia, Kane, Marlo, Cayden and Ava; a sister, Helen Moharter (Bill); a sister-in-law, Rose Middleton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mary will be remembered for her devotion to her Catholic faith, her love of music and dancing, her warm and loving personality and her unconditional commitment to her family. Even in her later years she exemplified such a gentle and kind spirit and she was loved by all who knew her and cared for her. We will miss her dearly.
Her family will receive friends on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Aycock-Riverside Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 1112 military Trail, Jupiter, FL . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 10 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1701 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter, FL. In lieu of flowers contributions may go to Trustbridge Hospice of Palm Beach County or Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
