Michael graduated from Hunterdon High School in New Jersey. After high school, Michael went on to graduate from Johnson and Wales University in Providence Rhode Island.
Michael is survived by his wife, Michelle Redfern and her daughter, Madison Foster; his mother, Maureen Burroughs of Vero Beach; his father, James Redfern (Cathy); her sister, Jesse Redfern of Bridgewater Massachusetts; a step-brother, Kelley Burroughs (Emma) of Ponte Vedra, Florida; an aunt, Eileen Kelley; grandchildren/cousins, Jack and Grace, Haywood, and Nicholas, Jacob, and Cameron Ranous of Abington, Massachusetts.
Michael’s sense of humor was contagious, and he lit up every room he entered. He had a zest for life and he will be greatly missed. He had a great love and passion for the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, and his Irish heritage.
