Munro "Pat" Y. Brett Jr.

Munro “Pat” Yuill Brett, Jr., 85 was born on February 4, 1935 in Summerville, MA and passed away on November 13, 2020 in Palm Beach, FL. Pat grew up in Glendora NJ. In high school he worked at his father’s restaurant called the Murphy House where they were famous for the “Worlds Best Cup of Coffee” on Route 130 West Brooklawn Circle in Brooklawn NJ. Pat graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School, Gloucester NJ, class of 1953 then continued on to USMC-United States Marine Corp from 1954-1956 and Drexel University from 1957-1959. Pat was married to Christine T. Brett (Burk) from 1962-1969 then to Deborah Brett (Stranahan) 1972-1979 and then lastly to Terry Lee Brett (Federici) 1991-2018. Pat was a Car Sales Consultant at Kardon Chevrolet, started the silk wrap nail tip revolution in the late 1970’s at Vincent & Josephs in the Cherry Hill Mall and Scruples Salon in Marlton, NJ until retirement in 2009. He enjoyed playing Golf, singing Karaoke (he loved singing Frank Sinatra songs), and he was a dance instructor and champion ball room dancer at Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Pat was a gentle, kind and loving soul with positive attitude. He had a kind word for everyone, he was interested in what you were doing, made time for everyone and always had a great sense of humor. He always had your back. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles, 76ers, Flyers and Phillies. He would engage in sports banter about any of those teams at the drop of a hat. He loved sports.
Pat is survived by his son, Shawn Patrick Brett, sister, Patricia Bergauer (Brett), John G. Kuhn and Edward F. Kuhn, III. He is predeceased by his two brothers, John and Bernard Brett.
