Nito was always eager to laugh and make others laugh.  He showed love to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.  Talking about him in the past tense breaks my heart.  Thoughts and prayers to Cesar and his entire family.

My family and I were so sad to hear of young Juan's untimely passing. It's impossible to prepare when you lose someone so young.
My memories of Juanito are of long ago, when he was only a toddler. His parents brought their children to a better life in a new neighborhood, where Sylvia and big Juan became a part of my family's life, and we a part of theirs.
Juanito's big eyes seemed to be perpetually widened by life, even before I heard him speak. I usually saw him in a stroller, drinking in all his surroundings, as Sylvia pushed and chatted with neighbors and new friends. He seemed particularly interested in anything his big brother Cesar had to say. 
Off and on over the years, we saw the boys grow into men. People whose parents and friends could be proud to say they knew them.
Some of us moved on and away, but the time we spent back then, when families were begun and lives were changed, was full of wonder. I'm glad we knew the Longinos, and Juanito at the very start of life. As young as he was then, his life, like all his family's, added something to our's.

Farewell to you Juanito may you Rest In Peace and watch over the rest of us

They came in the hundreds to wish you a farewell in return for the love you gave them.

Juanito you came into this world and took it like a storm with your big heart and smile you were loved by so many and you loved just the same. You will be missed. I will always treasure the last time I saw you at Guela’s funeral you made us all laugh saying that you weren’t her favorite but you knew you were Guelo’s. The Familia Pena will miss you and love you forever.

Rest in peace Nito, you were such a kind,  happy soul always made time to help others. You will be missed. Prayers to your family at this difficult time.
