Norma Jean Robitaille, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Jupiter, Florida. Born and raised in South Florida, Norma lived a life rooted in love, laughter, and family.
Norma was the devoted wife of the late Paul Robitaille, sister of Penney Lendzian, and the proud mother of six children: Debbie Carroll, Tim Morley, Collette Raymond (married to Carl Raymond), Renee Brodbeck (married to the late Benjamin Brodbeck), Jacqui Pettingill (married to Eddie Pettingill), and Mary Beth Martinsen (married to Peter Martinsen). She was a cherished “Nana” or “Grammie”, to TJ, Ricky, Rollin, Max, Carissa, Sophia, and Lawrence, and a proud great-grandmother to three wonderful boys.
Norma’s heart was never happier than when surrounded by her family — whether gathered for Sunday dinners, holidays, or summer trips to Lake George, NY, where she created countless treasured memories. She had an infectious laugh, a sharp sense of humor, and an endless capacity to make those around her feel loved.
A lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Florida Gators, Norma brought the same spirited enthusiasm to every game as she did to life itself — cheering passionately, celebrating fiercely, and always believing next season would be the best one yet.
Norma’s legacy lives on in the love of her family and the warmth she brought into every room. Her strength, devotion, and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Loggerhead Marine Life Center, an organization that reflects her love for the Florida coast she called home.
