Patricia M. Carey

She attended East Rutherford High School and later attended S.U.N.Y. Albany Medical College graduating with honors as a licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by her loving husband, Benedict of 66 years; her children, Kevin Carey, Carolyn Flannery and Susan Perlow; her grandchildren, Tyler and Kailei Trykowski; her brother, William Hippler and her sister, Kerri Hippler.

Patricia was a loving wife and mother, taking great joy in caring for her husband and children before going back to school for nursing and joining the workforce. She loved cooking, baking, sewing, and crafting. She was always known to make warm, cheerful holiday celebrations with family and friends. She loved baking cookies and decorating for the holidays. She was a devoted member of the St. Jude Catholic Church. She spent many hours volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.

Patricia was a beautiful example of a life well lived. Her light will be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta, Florida.
