Patricia Clearwaters Marsh (Grammy) passed away peacefully in Jupiter Florida on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at the age of 92. Pat was born in Lafayette, Indiana on June 15, 1922. She graduated from DePauw University, received her M.S. in Zoology from Northwestern in 1947, and her work was published in the Journal of Comparative Neurology in 1954. She worked as a researcher, teacher, and homemaker. She was preceded in death by Tom Marsh, her husband of 62 years. She and Tom traveled the world widely and lived in Chicago, St. Pete, and La Jolla. Pat recently lived in Gainesville and Jupiter, Florida. Pat was an avid reader, an excellent artist, and loved music. She had a keen intellect, a wonderful sense of humor, and a very kind heart. Pat is survived by her son Bill and daughter-in-law Ellen of Jupiter, her granddaughters Jessica and Katie, and numerous friends and relatives. She was deeply loved and will be missed. The family plans a private memorial.
