She was born December 18, 1940 in Chattanooga, TN. She graduated from Hialeah High School in 1959 and soon after she married the love of her life, Mallory. They lived in Tequesta over 60 years. She was the Personnel Manager and then the Receiving Department Manager for K-Mart until retirement. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of United Methodist Church where she was a part of the sewing group. She enjoyed the comradery and working on so many special projects. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who they called “Mamma”. She loved her family dearly and treasured any time the whole family would get together. She loved attending dance recitals, cheerleading competitions, soccer games, chorus and band concerts of her children and grandchildren. You could always find her in her craft room sewing, quilting, or working on her multiple scrapbooks that she completed over the years.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents Jesse Owen Drake and Mildred Frances (Fairbanks) Drake, her step-mother Mary Eleanor (Parker) Drake, her sister Ella Yvonne Langley, her loving husband of 63 years Mallory Calvin Powell and her son Douglas Calvin Powell.
Patricia is survived by her sister Judy Diane Jacobs, her brother Jesse Owen Drake Jr, (2) daughters Debra Andres and Darlene (Sam) Combs, (5) grandchildren Deanna (Rob) Benz, Jeanna (Frank) Russo, Calvin Carl Powell, Mallory (Thomas) Allen, Tanner Reed Combs and (4) great-grandchildren Jensen Richard Russo, Colette Faye Allen, Alexander Joseph Russo and Paisley May Taylor.
