

formally of Morris Plains, NJ passed away on September 21.
Bill was born in 1929 in Pittsburgh, Pa. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during
the Korean War. Upon his return he entered and graduated from Upsala College in East
Orange, NJ where he was a member of the Theta Epsilon fraternity. There he met and married
his fellow classmate Ruth Anderson. Bill and Ruth were happily married for 65 years. Shortly
after graduating from Upsala he joined in the family business at the Fire Fighters Equipment
Company in Denville, NJ where he remained as the president for 30 years.
Bill and Ruth loved their years of playing golf and enjoying their many friends at Springbrook
CC, Baltusrol GC and PGA National GC. They also treasured their many trips that they took
through out the world with their family and friends. Undoubtedly, the highlight of Bill’s life was
his family. He adored his girls and their families. Together with his family he spent the last 30
years enjoying and lovingly maintaining their family camp in the Adirondack mountains where
he helped make memories that will endure for generations.
Bill is survived by his wife Ruth (Anderson), his sister Jean Yawger, his daughters Jane
Kilcullen, and Dr. Ruth Randi, his son-in-laws Kevin Kilcullen, and Dr. Anthony Randi, his
grandchildren, Paul Kilcullen (Stephanie), Dr. William Randi (Dr. Meredith Peeke), James
Kilcullen, Katherine Kilcullen, and Chesney(Randi)Collins (TJ), and seven great-grandchildren.
