I was a longtime friend of Paul's going way back to our early years in grade school and right on through to our graduation from high school. We shared many great times together and tons of laughs. We stayed in touch over the years with Christmas cards and lots of phone calls. I hadn't heard from him in a couple of months and just discovered that he passed away back in July. I wanted to send my condolences to his sister and his two boys. He was a dear friend and I will miss him greatly. Please accept my sympathies for your loss.

My family met Paul through his neighbors, the Simpsons.  Whenever the Simpsons had a gathering  we would have many laughs and conversations with Paul.  He was a kind, friendly man. Sending prayers of strength to his boys.  Thank you for making the world a better place Paul.

Paul was an usher for Charlie and my wedding.  He helped make everyone feel welcome.  He was charming, helpful, and caring.  He is the handsome one on the bottom left.

Praying for peace and serenity for my two nephews, Anthony and Nicolas as you grieve the loss of your dad. It was so sudden and unexpected. I am sure that it has been difficult dealing with the reality that your dad is gone. I am praying for increased trust and hope in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ knowing that He has a plan and purpose for everything and that His ways are perfect. God’s Word gives us encouragement. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4 KJV My heart aches knowing that my time with my dear brother Paul has been shortened. We always think we have tomorrow, but we only have today.  My wish is that I would have more tomorrows with him.  I now realize I have only memories of all the experiences we shared together as brother and sister. I will miss our frequent phone conversations sometimes lasting an hour, two, or more! We talked about everything under the sun.  We had a wonderful childhood together and would often reminisce about all the fun we shared growing up. We both loved the outdoors and enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing, softball, tennis, golf, and badminton which we sometimes played late into the evening coaxing our parents to turn on the outside floodlights so we could extend our play “just one more game.”  We loved fishing with our Dad in his little rowboat named “Huffy” We loved singing in harmony especially some of the familiar commercial tunes.  We enjoyed going “up north” and exploring the numerous lakes, state parks, and of course going fishing as we often did with our dad off the pier in Manitowoc. Our bamboo poles had two hooks and a bobber.  It was so fun when the fish were biting!  We would bring home our catch and mom would fry them up. I will hold on to the many wonderful memories I have of the many years we had together both as children and adults.

Paul was a school time and lifelong friend from Manitowoc. We go back a long way! I will miss our conversations and the reminiscing of the good old days. Rest in peace my friend.
