Pauline Ann Napoli, affectionately known as Polly, peacefully passed away on November 7, 2023, in Jupiter, Florida, at the age of 80. Born on June 26, 1943, in New Jersey to Mary and John Schumell, Polly brought joy to her family, including her older brother, Frank.
Growing up in Verona, New Jersey, Polly had a delightful childhood and was actively involved as a twirler in the Verona High School Marching Band. In 1963, she married Richard Napoli and together they embarked on a journey that led them through various states while raising their two children, Nicole and Jason. Eventually, they found their home in Florida, where they embraced the sunshine state, reveling in the joys of family life with their grandchildren, Coya, Dalton and Caitlin.
Polly was an extraordinary mother and grandmother, known for her warmth and the love she showered upon everyone in her life. Her infectious joy and welcoming nature made her family and friends feel cherished. Polly found immense happiness in creating memorable adventures for her grandkids, from exciting theme park visits to days spent at the beach.
Throughout her life, Polly maintained deep connections with lifelong friends, cherishing the opportunity to catch up and share in the joys of their expanding families, whom she embraced as her own. Her unwavering support and loyalty endeared her to all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
Polly's love for her family was immeasurable, reciprocated equally by those fortunate enough to call her family. As we bid farewell to Polly, her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by her friends and loved ones.
In honor of Polly's memory, the family suggests memorial donations to the JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL® (JDRF) at the following link: http://www2.jdrf.org/goto/PaulineNapoli
