Philip Alastra

A sicilian immigrant, came to America in Pursuit of the American Dream. Philip settled in New York where he met his beloved wife Marie. Together they created a successful beauty business all the while raising two children Annemarie and Tommy.

In 1986 Philip moved his family to Jupiter, Florida and open up Galaxy Hair Designs with a loyal and loving staff that continues to operate the business today.

Philip is survived by his wife Marie, son Tommy, daughter Annemarie, son-in-law Michael, granddaughter Isabella, sister Pina Borrusso, and brother-in-law Nino Borruso of Italy, mother-in-law Maria Bonventre, sisters-in-law Dina Alastra of Italy and Francesca Fiordilino of Jupiter, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends.

Service will be held Aycock Funeral Home on Sunday November 2 between 6pm-10pm:
