

86, of Jupiter, Florida passed away peacefully December 13, 2014. Ralph was born in Newark, NY to Alberto and Frances Viola Nittolo. He attended Newark High School, joined the US Navy in 1945 to serve during World War II for 19 months until the war was over. He then joined the United States Air Force and served his country for 20 yeas as a Tech Sergeant. He is a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a true patriot, loved this country and loved serving in the military. He attended Southwestern State University in Oklahoma on the GI Bill where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1967. In 1968 he moved his family to South Florida.
Ralph worked as a parole officer in West Palm Beach for three years and then took a job in 1971 with a newly formed masonry contractors association, the Trowel Guild, as their Executive Director and ran the masonry apprenticeship school for 37 years. He retired from the Trowel Guild in 2008. Ralph loved people and spent his life helping others achieve their personal and professional goals. He loved fishing, boating, bowling, and above all, playing golf.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy (DeeDee) Junger Nittolo, his son Ralph John Nittolo, Jr., his daughter Sandra Lee Nittolo, stepson Robert Cato, Jr., stepdaughter Kimberly Cato Ficker (Chuck), five grandchildren, Barbara Gluckman, Travis Langson, Nicholas Nittolo, Elizabeth Ficker, and Ben Ficker, one great granddaughter Riley Hope Gluckman, and one sister, Mary Nittolo of Lyons, NY. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews of Newark and Rochester, NY. He was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, and his beloved son Anthony Nittolo.
Family will receive guests on Saturday, January 3, 2015 starting at 10 am, a memorial service will start at 11 am at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. Inurnment will follow the service at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL.
