Joshua celebrated his 16th birthday recently. He requests me to take him to Queen Of Peace frequently. He says that he finds great joy and peace having long conversations with you.

I am so thankful that I had an opportunity on many occasions to speak with Mr. Mylo when he would come to school to pick up Isabella and Joshua. He was a quiet, humble, and loving and always a pleasure to greet. My heart goes out to his family.

When I heard of Richard's passing, I was surprised and so sorry for his family. I know he loved his family and extended family above anything else. It is hard to loose a loved one so early in life but I also know that the separation is only temporary. Richard has returned to his Father in Heaven and has been reunited with loved ones there. Our Savior will comfort those left behind, for now. But I know you will all be reunited later. Even though he has passed, his presence will continue to be felt. We all leave a mark while we are here and Richard has left a beautiful one in Isabella and the love he showed to those around him. 

We met Richard many times during Emma and Isabella’s junior high events. He always beamed with pride at Isabella’s wonderful accomplishments. You could always feel the love he had for his family. He was always seen with a camera around his neck, ready to capture precious moments. We are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.  

Dearest Michelle, Isabella and Joshua – the loss of a loved one is never easy and I am sure each of you have thought "Why us?"  No one can prepare you for such loss, for it comes like a swift wind.  But take comfort that Richard is now in peace and comfort in the loving arms of our Lord.  A person that departs this earthly existence, never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds and precious memories.  And through us they live on.
 
Cedrick and me will always remember the impromptu late nights at your place and Richard whipping up his famous Aglio et Olio spaghetti.  And re-living, laughing and sharing those memories when we visited Florida in January 2017.
 
June – take comfort in your memories of Richard and God will show you the way and bring you solace and peace.
 
Eternal rest grant unto Richard O Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon him.

Dear Isabella, Michelle and Joshua,

I was so sad to hear about Richard's passing. I know it isn't easy to lose a loved one. Please know that he will be around you always and watching out for you. Even though he isn't here on earth, please continue to talk to him and ask for his help when needed. 



I will always  remember Richard as my big brother.  He was kind and selfless and very helpful.  May his soul Rest in Peace.

Richard, if it had not been for you, I would not have met Michelle. My sister, my friend. I am eternally grateful your life blessed me with Michelle & the kids. I am sure you are at Our Father's feet in heaven. May you forever rest in God's loving peace.

I was too small but I still remember how you treated us so well. You made those lovely milkshakes and how we played with the dogs and ran about in the grass lawn. Beautiful memories and the love you shared with us is unforgettable. We deeply miss you and until we meet again..
