Rich, through difficult times and when times were good, you remained a steadfast anchor for those around you. I will miss your smile and your jokes, but most of all, I will miss your friendship.

Renata, you and your children have been and will be in my prayers. Rich's friends will be with you every step of the way as you walk through this challenging time.  God 
 Wraps His love around us in many ways and through times of great sorrow He heals and comforts us. Rich will always be with us in our memories. May God bless you and keep you in the days and years to come.

I always respected Rich as a true gentleman - courteous, companssionate, gracious, intellectual, inquisitive, and professional, with a warm sense of humor. I worked with him many times over the past 9 years at FPL. My best memories are from the two weeks in 2007 and 2009 when we worked in Maine.

Kim and Billy and family, I am saddened to hear the news of Rich's passing...I have so many fond memories of us as kids playing. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

What incredibly sad news to hear of Rich's passing. It's been a few years since I have seen Rich but I will always remember him as a great friend and professional dedicated to our shared profession of environmental management. Lots of great after work meetings at the Thirsty Turtle also come to mind. Thoughts and prayers to all his family, friends and co-workers.

It's a very sad day - Rich was one of those people who could brighten your day and always could be counted on to help solve issues.  We only worked together on a few projects, but shared a drink and a laugh many times. The smile on his face so many have commented on is always the first thing I picture.  I am grateful for having known him and learned from him. RIP.  My condolences to those he left behind family & friends, my prayers are with you.

I'm sorry to hear of Rich's passing. I remember him as a soft spoken gentleman who always greeted everybody with a smile and I enjoyed working with him.

Rich, rest well my friend, I will miss your guidance, your humor and your friendship.  You and your family are in my prayers.  You were a lot of help to me when I first took over enviromental purchasing in 2001 and I will never forget it.

I remember Rich as always having a smile on his face and pleasant to everyone.  He always made an effort to stop and say hi.  He will absolutely be missed.

I was so sad to hear of Rich's passing. I worked with him for several years at FPL in the late 80's. We were also friends outside of work and I can remember his smile and laugh. Lots of fun beach parties,vollyball games and fishing. A very thoughtful and kind person, I'm sure he will be greatly missed. My blessings to his family.

We were so sorry to hear about Rich, he was my first boss out of college at the Martin/LU office and Barley Barber Swamp.  My first day on the job Rich and Randy taught me how to catch an armadillo, funniest thing I've ever seen, the armadillo won!  We had a great crew to work with and enjoyed a good volleyball game after work, making for lots of great memories.  Rich was a great guy and will be missed.

Rich touched the lives of many.  He will truly be missed. My condolences to Renata and family, Bill and Kim.

I worked with Rich here at the Lauderdale Power Plant prior to and after the repowering project during the early 90's, he was truly one of the good people.

I've known Rich since I started working for FPL 15 years ago. His camaradarie, humor, work ethics and overall personality will be truly missed. Renata, Yvonne and I are here for you.

Rich was my best friend growing up in North Carolina.  He was my Best Man at my wedding.  He was like the brother I never had. Rich's family was like a second family to me. Rich was kind, generous and just a fun guy to hang out with.  I will miss him.

I only knew Rich for three or so years; we worked on a large, multi-institutional research grant together. He was fun, warm, and thoughtful. I will miss you Rich. RIP.

Rich was a close colleague when we worked together in JES. We travelled together on many projects. He will be missed here on earth but welcomed by many in heaven.
