Of Jupiter, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, at the Jupiter Medical Center Pavilion.
Rita is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and John McCormack of New Vernon, New Jersey; her brother, Robert Emmett of Williamsburg, VA; five grandchildren Robert Rush, Megan Rush, Brendan McCormack, Matthew McCormack and Margaret McCormack. Also surviving are three great granddaughters Charli Troup, Hannah Troup, and Penelope McCormack; two nephews Robert and Richard Emmett. She was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Harvey, her daughter, Susan McNamara, and her sister-in-law, Lynn Emmett.
A Memorial Service will be held in New Jersey, her previous home, at a later date. The family suggests contributions be made in her memory to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. Arrangements entrusted to Aycock Funeral Home, Jupiter.
