Robert N. Bogard

Bob was educated in the Little Rock school system, graduating from Central High School. He went on to attend East Carolina University, earning a BS in Business Administration. Bob served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for 30 years before retiring as a Colonel. He married Phyllis Formento on June 5, 1993. He enjoyed sailing, gliding, hunting and was an all-around “Mr. Fix It Man”.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Francis Leland Bogard and a sister, Mary Ann Walls.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Phyllis Bogard; two sons, David Ashley Bogard and Thomas Gregory Bogard; a daughter, Lisa Bogard Zurawski; their mother, Betty Jean Moynahan; two brothers, Thomas Hugh Bogard and Clement Sampson Walls, Jr. as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172. A Celebration of Life will be held in Jupiter, FL at a later date. The Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s name to the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, 1210 S. Old Dixie Highway, Jupiter, FL 33458.
