BOGGS Robert (Bob) Earl Boggs, of Columbus OH and Jupiter, FL., took his final flight on Monday, July 1, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was a retired US Navy Commander and carrier aviator. Bob will always be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his wife and companion, Marjorie. Survived by his 4 children, Barbara (David) Schlaff, Susan (Joseph) O'Rourke, Beth (John) Ashe, Scott (Sandy) Boggs; 4 grandchildren, Kimberly Schlaff-Harris, Matthew & Jeffrey Hume, Ashley Boggs; 4 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Alexa, & Olivia Harris, Ava Marie Hume. Family will receive friends at 10:45AM Friday, July 5, 2013 prior to an 11AM mass at St. Patrick Church, 13591 Prosperity Farms Rd, Palm Beach Gardens FL. A reception lunch will be held immediately after the service. Burial will be in Columbus OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick Church, or USS Gambier Bay/ VC-10 Association, 2228 E. Greenlee Road, Tucson, AZ 85719-2012 in his memory.
