87, of Jupiter passed away on December 2, 2015. The son of Warren and Marion (Walker) Cook born on February 4, 1928 in Medford, Massachusetts. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Maureen Cook; his devoted children Susan Cook of Malvern, Pennsylvania, Peter Robert Cook of Lake Worth, Florida; his loving granddaughters Jessyca Ray Cook and Kristen Sjostrom; many loving family and friends.
In his senior year of high school, Bob was recruited by the Boston Red Socks as a pitcher. His career was interrupted by his service in the US Army and he never returned to baseball. He joined SmithKlein Corporation, a Philadelphia pharmaceutical company in 1955 and became Vice President of Sales. He pioneered training methods that became a part of industry practice. He was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta where a Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, December 7th at 10am. Entombment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be considered to St. Jude Catholic Church or to the Little Sister’s of the Poor.
