Robert John Gee

After a brief illness, Robert (Bob) J. Gee, age 88, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, was called home to be with his heavenly father on September 12, 2012. Bob was born and raised in Bronx, NY and in 1961 he moved his family to Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Bob was a proud Navy veteran who served during World War II on the U.S.S. Brooklyn CL-40, and a Captain for Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue. For many years he was a long-time active member of the Veteran’s of Foreign War (VFW), Fraternal Order of Eagles, Loyal Order of Moose (Moose International), and The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

Bob would best be remembered as being the life of the party, an avid animal lover, a comedian, and a dear friend to all. He will be missed and remembered by all who had the pleasure to have met him.

Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice Pappas Gee; son, Robert W. Gee; son, Timothy Gee and wife and grandson Connor as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm with a 3:00pm memorial service at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. (561)746-5124.
