Robert Conrad Johann

After graduating from Greenwich High School he served in the United States Army. He then attended Fairmont State College where Bob met the love of his life, Ann Lucas. They were wed on June 1, 1957 at St. Peter’s Church in Fairmont, WV, after which they embarked on their life journey to Florida where Bob had a career in sales.

Bob dedicated his life to his family, always there when needed, showing unconditional love. He was a sports enthusiast starting with his passion for competitive swimming in high school, various coaching positions to the faithful attendance of his grandsons’ sports contests. Bob enjoyed numerous cruises with his wife around the globe and forged many close friendships along the way. There was rarely an evening out with family or friends that did not include a ‘Team Drink’ to celebrate the moment.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Michael); his son, Robert Jr.; three grandsons, Thomas (Maria), John and Robert; two great granddaughters, Victoria and Sophia; and sister, Nancy.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Ann and his sister, Mary Ellen.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on June 20, 2026, in the Chapel at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Tequesta, Florida. A private inurnment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta.

In remembrance of Robert’s life, the family asks that in lieu of flowers any charitable donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memoriam of him.
