It is with great sadness we must announce the passing away of Robert Francis Lauritzen on February 12, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving wife Doris and close family members. Robert was born to John and Mary Lauritzen on September 19, 1936, in East Hartford, Connecticut.
He was an avid golfer belonging to the Tournament Players Club, Ellington Ridge Country Club, Wampanoag Country Club, and the PGA National Country Club. Robert was a phenomenal businessman from a young age and owned several businesses throughout the years including Wilkas Music and Vending (West Hartford, CT), and Advanced Pest Control.
Robert is survived by his wife of 44 years, Doris and four children who he cherished. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to all.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, 9999 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Road, Tequesta, FL 33469.
