Bob served in the Korean War after the war was over in the late 1950’s. He married Mary Peters in August of 1989; they were married for 29 years. Bob worked as a foreman and superintendent at General Motors for 30 years. He was employed at Sand Hill Crane Golf course working as a Ranger for more than 10 plus years. Bob loved playing golf and was an excellent golfer. If you needed any help or a tip on your swing he was always there to help. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding horses with his children.
Bob was always so loving and helpful to his wife Mary. Mary and Bob were a match made in Heaven. They did everything together and never had a serious argument. They were partners in everything and they loved playing golf together. They moved to Palm Beach Gardens, FL in the 1990’s and enjoyed it so much.
Bob is survived by his spouse, Mary Peters; children, Gene Peters, Sean Petersand Colleen Peters; step children, David Clapp (Trudi) and Julie Monahan (Rich); grandchildren, Steven Lopez, Lexi Peters, Lauren Clapp, Annie Clapp, Christopher Monahan, and Jack Monahan; brother, Ed Peters; sisters, Diane Gookin and Debbie Blackburn ; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Theodore Peters; mother, Clarisse Peters; his first wife, Patricia Peters in 2001 and his son, Robbie Peters in 1990.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at AYCOCK-RIVERSIDE FUNERAL AND CREMATION CENTER, 112 Military Trial, Jupiter, FL. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation www.alzfdn.org/.
