Passed away October 10, 2014. Born and raised in Tuckahoe, New York on November 3, 1928. Ron moved to South Florida in 1989. He lived in Lauderdale by the Sea until 2005 and then moved to West Palm Beach. He received an honorable discharge from the US Air Force Reserve in 1953. He then became a firefighter in Scarsdale, NY and retired as a Captain in 1987.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Granozio, and his children, Karen (Rogliano) and Joe Paranzino, Ron Rogliano and Sherry (Nicholson), and Kathy (Rogliano) Ciampi, as well as his grandchildren Nicole, Ron, and Robin. Dearly loved by all his family and friends, Ron was part of a generation whose honor and integrity never faltered. He worked tirelessly, lent a hand to whoever needed his help, and never expected anything in return.
He was truly a “King of Hearts”, loved his wife and family beyond measure, and his poker games almost as much! We will forever miss him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, October 16th at 1PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
