Rosa Perez Muñoz

Rosa Perez Muñoz passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024 at 6:10 AM at the Hospice Unit of Palm Beach Gardens Hospital in the company of her loving family. She was in the Hospice Unit for about a week and was surrounded by at least one family member 24/7 until she moved to her eternal life.

She was 104 years young and a proud resident of Palm Beach County Florida for about 30 years. Rosa was born in Bogota, Colombia on September 14, 1919, but grew up in New York and Panama. She returned to Bogota and stayed there until her return to New York at age 52 in 1972. She was married to Jesus Antonio Muñoz until his passing in 1986.

She graduated in bilingual calligraphy and worked as an executive secretary in Colombia. She was an outstanding worker who continued working until she was in her 80's.

She loved dancing and performed in many dance shows until late in her beautiful life, she also volunteered in her local hospital for many years. Rosa was incredibly generous and giving was part of her regular life. She was a dedicated member of her community, was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She was always willing to lend a helping hand.

She is survived by three daughters; one son; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; son in-laws; a daughter in-law and friends who love and admire her very much. Rosa will be deeply missed by all her family and those whose lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life Service will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
