Russell A. "Pete" DeGraw Jr.

69, of Palm Beach Gardens passed away on November 26, 2015. Pete was a Retired New York State Corrections Officer. Pete owned a construction company in New York called Russell A. DeGraw & Sons Construction. He was an expert carpenter and gardener, but most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Pete will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and his loving and giving nature. He will be greatly missed by his children Kristin Molloy (Kevin) of Leesville, Louisiana; Travis DeGraw of Jupiter, Florida; Casey DeGraw of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Ryan DeGraw of California; Brittany DeGraw of Columbia, South Carolina; grandson Camden Molloy; brother John “Wayne” DeGraw (Lynne); niece Neeka Jacarino, nephew Joey DeGraw, and nephew Gavin DeGraw all of Nashville, Tennessee. Pete is also survived by his loving wife Peggy Holmes DeGraw of Palm Beach Gardens; step children Walter Holmes (Paula) of Goshen, New York; Tom Holmes (Janine) of Middletown, New York; Mary Ellen Mitchell Irizarry (Eric) of Tavernier, Florida; step grandchildren Angela, Liam, Garrett, Katie, Hannah, as well as many friends and relatives.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3rd from 6-8 PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 4th at 10 AM, St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 9999 N Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
