60, of Jupiter, FL passed away on January 26, 2011. Russ was born in Springfield, IL on May 10, 1950 to Robert and Dorothy Fleming, who predeceased him.
Russ graduated from Lincoln Land Community college and spent most of his career as an engineering technician. He had proudly served his country as a Marine.
Russ’ memory will be cherished by his wife of 22 years, Terri; and his beloved children, Ethan and Becca. He is also survived by two sisters; Sandie Neu (Richard) of Springfield, IL, and Betty Fleming of Riverton, IL; niece, Tami Pruetzel of Springfield, IL and three great nieces and nephews.
Russ loved sitting by his driveway fire and was often found riding his bike around town. He especially enjoyed his years as a Cub Scout Leader and always had fun trying out new recipes. Among those who will also miss him are his dogs, Rex and Rocky.
A Celebration of Russ’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 19th at Grace Place Community Church, 1550 SE Salero Road, Stuart, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for the children’s college fund.
