

As a young man, he graduated from trade school in Croatia as a “cooper” and mastered barrel making in France. After France, he came to America with a Catholic ministry and met Renate Poljak in White Plains, New York and married on June 29, 1969. Together, they moved to Spain and came back to America where they started a family in New York. Stan Poljak was a painter for 25 years and a proud business owner. A man that would go to far greater lengths to find a solution. His passion for Karate and Jiu-Jitsu began around 1979, and he became an acclaimed master in the practice holding several black belts in different styles. He also enjoyed traveling and exploring the world. However, he was most passionate about his family. In 2002, Stan and Renate moved to West Palm Florida. From 2004 onward, Stan practiced real estate in Florida.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son, Richard Poljak, who is the father of grandchild, Michaela A. Asaro.
Stan is a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Renate Poljak; a son, Christopher Poljak and his wife Daniela as well as his grandchildren; Michaela A. Asaro (26), Julia R. Poljak (10), and Jenna R. Poljak (8).
Stan was a beloved family member to many. As a Patriarch in the family, he will be greatly missed.
John 11:25-26: “Jesus said … he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.”
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A funeral service will take place at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
