Teresa Lewis

Lewis was born November 14, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio and resided in Jupiter, FL. Lewis was a tenacious presence on the offshore powerboat racing circuit, and was known to those in the boating community as the original ‘Miss GEICO’. More than that she was the ultimate family leader and the perfect example of what every mother should be.

Reese joins her father Jerry Cordle, her beloved grandma Mary, her aunt Alice Bowers, and cousin Debbie Stafford. She is survived by her two children, Chelsie Gilchrist and Austin Gilchrist, her mother Shirley Cordle, and brother, Jerry "Butch" Cordle, which were the center of her world.

A ‘Celebration of Life’ service will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 12:30-1:30pm at the First United Methodist Church of Jupiter-Tequesta at 815 E. Indiantown Rd., Jupiter, FL 33477.

The service will be followed by a casual gathering at Square Grouper Tiki Bar, 1111 Love St., Jupiter, FL 33477. Flowers should be sent Thursday or Friday only to AMF Racing, Building A, 7555 Garden Rd., Riviera Beach, FL 33404.
