Thomas Joseph Torsiello

60, of Jupiter, Florida passed away on January 2, 2016. He was born in Newark, NJ, on June 5, 1955, to the late Joseph Torsiello and Gloria Torsiello, who survives. Tom graduated from Essex Catholic High School and received a Bachelor’s in Education from Kean College in Union, NJ. He was married to Lorey Douglass on September 18, 1987. Tom owned and operated his own business for over 30 years. He was a member of Sigma Theta Chi Fraternity at Kean College, and member of the Boy Scouts of America Troup 38, St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark, NJ. Tom lived a passionate life full of sports, family, and friends. He is survived by his wife Lorey; son Michael and wife Jenny; daughters Torey and Joie; granddaughter Emelia Harvest; brother Dennis and wife Carol, their children Brian and wife Christine, Lauren and husband Greg; sister-in-law Michele and children Christopher, Robert and wife Shannon, and is predeceased by his brother Bobby Torsiello. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7th, 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 8th at 10 AM (this is tentative), St. Peter Catholic Church, 1701 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter.
