Carl graduated in 1958 with an Engineering Degree from Brooklyn Polytech. In 1959 Carl and his wife Gail moved to Cape Canaveral, Florida where he worked as a Rocket Engineer on The Atlas Rocket. They then moved to Palm Beach Gardens where they have resided ever since. Carl then had a career at Pratt & Whitney for 32 years. He retired in 1992. During his time at Pratt & Whitney he was an engineer and major contributor of the RL10 Rocket Engine which is still being used today.
Carl and his loving wife Gail, of 65 years, spent many years cruising the Bahamas on their boat with their two sons, Curtis and Jim from 1970 up until the last couple of years.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; a sister, Janet Lindsey of Winthrop, WA; two sons, Curtis Ring (Michelle) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Jim Ring of Cocoa Beach, FL; two grandsons, Jonathan Ally (Brittany) of Jupiter, FL and Jeremy Ally of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the home of Curtis and Michelle Ring, 2206 Driftwood Circle, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.
