Another Father's Day without you. I miss how we used to celebrate with a cookout, silly cards and basketball and golf on t.v.! You are missed more than you will ever know. I thank you, dad, for being the best dad a girl could ever have asked for. I think of you all the time and pray for your soul. I love you.

Happy Father's Day Dad! It's the first time in 50 years that I can't say that to you face to face, and I've already cried this morning realizing that. I think about you every single day and miss you more than you will ever know. I was so lucky to have such a great Dad, and I will always cherish those memories. May you rest in peace and remember how much you were loved.

Dad--This was the first Christmas Eve without you since I can remember and I'm really missing you. It just wasn't the same. I think of you every day and hope you are watching down on us and seeing how much you are loved. I will never forget all the things you did for me and what a wonderful dad you were. I love you with all my heart and miss you more than you can ever know.

Hi Grandpa!! Just wanted you to know we're thinking of you and hope you have a very Merry Christmas in the Heavens!

We can't tell you how much we loved Bill. We miss him terribly. He was a welcomed fixture in the "court" always waving and smiling. Bill was such a kind and loving friend.
Of course, Jack especially thought the world of Bill. When he was younger, he may have spent more time with "Grandpa" and Christian than with us! I know Jack treasures those times.
We will forever miss Bill's big grin and big heart. We keep Laura, Christian, Bill and the rest of the Burke family in our prayers.

Dad--Yodi is on his way to see you. He passed away peacefully in my arms this morning. I laid down with him, and put your Navy swag hat next to him so he could catch your scent. He missed you terribly and was just never the same after you left. We are having him cremated and will spread his ashes where you two will be together forever. I will forever miss his howling! Love you.

Dad--Today would have been your 77th birthday, but instead we laid you to rest. It has been almost a month since you left us, and I can't even begin to describe how much I miss you. I think about you every day, and I miss our daily conversations about everything and nothing! You have no idea how much you are missed; and how much you were loved. Even people who only knew you casually are sad that you passed. Please keep looking over us and know that we love you. Happy Birthday Dad. Love you---Andrea

I am honored to be asked to speak at his service on Monday. Bill was the epitome of the big-hearted guy who didn't have to say he was a friend---he showed it. He is missed.

Bill, I can't believe your gone! Though we only met you as our neighbor when we moved in less than 2 years ago in those two years you I always got great joy seeing you. Especially being the coolest grandpa in the world with your hip baseball caps, sneakers, convertible mustang and hanginging outside while Christian as he was shooting hoops! Right now I recall hearing you giving Christian master grilling lessons over and across our pool hedges and thinking, "what an awesome grandfather"..... May you be at peace and soaring free in God's kingdom for I will never forget your laugh and smile when I walk out my door and look over ar your yard.... You will be missed! Prayers to Laura and your family during this difficult time. Monica and Paul Nola

Stacy, Bobby and I are so very sorry about Bill's passing. We all have such great memories of "Uncle" Bill - always jovial, always laughing, always offering his help. The family get-togethers and especially the holidays we all shared together will stay with each of us forever. I doubt Bill ever met a stranger no matter where he was or what he was doing. I know he touched the hearts of people across the United States and his memories will live deeply in each and every one us.
The kids and l still cherish this picture - some 30 years ago - with Bill and the kids swimming in your spa in Houston. Seems like this was yesterday. Yes, great memories indeed.
We love you and are thinking about you.
