91, of Mangrove Bay, Jupiter, passed away on December 29, 2013.
Born in Lyndhurst, New Jersey on March 23, 1922 he moved to Detroit, Michigan after serving in the US Navy as a signalman during World War II. Wounded on the beaches of Africa, he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Viola L. Reid.
Bill was the founder and owner of Brady Mechanical, Inc. in suburban Detroit. He took up snow skiing in his forties and collected over 100 pins from his travels to ski resorts around the country, Europe and Canada. As charter members of the Nomads Travel Club in Detroit, Bill and his wife traveled extensively around the world. He was a lifetime member of Western Golf & Country Club in Michigan and a former resident and member of Little Club of Tequesta. Always an adventurer, Bill went skydiving on his 80th birthday.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy M. Reid of 18 years; his son Terrence (Jacquelyn) Reid, daughter Nancy G.(Edward) Elliott, son Sean (Lori Beth) Reid; grandchildren Tracey, Ryan, and Nicholas.
