Born on March 29, 1947, in Pinar del Río, Cuba, Yolanda immigrated to the United States at the age of 14. She embraced her new life with courage, faith, and determination, building a future centered on family, hard work, and love.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando Portilla and Libia Santos Portilla. Winslow; and her nieces, Libby Davis, Georgianna Torres, and Susan Garcia, along with their spouses and children.
Together, Yolanda and Miguel built Moya Photography, a successful portrait studio they owned and operated side by side for 39 years. Her artistic eye and exceptional retouching skills helped preserve treasured memories for generations of families throughout Palm Beach County and beyond. Today, Moya Photography continues under the ownership of Angelo and Debbie Panozzo, whom Yolanda considered family, carrying forward a legacy that has now spanned 55 years, 52 of those years in the same location.
