Agnes J. Fernandez, 84, of Makawao, Maui, passed away on October 5, 2024, surrounded by family, under the care of Islands Hospice. She was born on Jaunary 21, 1940 at Malulani Hospital, Territory of Hawaii.
Visitation will be held from 9-11am on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Ballard Family Mortuary; eulogy and services to start at 11am; burial will follow, 1pm at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao.
Agnes was a homemaker, babysat the neighborhood children and gave all her time to her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Fernandez Sr.. She is survived by her children, Michael Fernandez Jr., Cheryl Fernandez, Crystal Souza (Kevin), Leslie Fernandez (Linda); brother, Steven Feliciano; sisters, Beatrice Ribao, Dolores Carvalho, Gloria Tom Sun (Philbert); 11 grandchidren, Michael Fernadez III, Danielle Frampton, Emery Fernandez, Nichol Veincent, Chelsea Johnson, Harley Souza, Beloved Caleb Thuro, Troy Fernandez, Katrina Fernandez, Ryder Souza, Hayley Fernandez; and 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
