Aiko Watanabe, 89, of Kealakekua, passed away June 29, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Hilo, she taught Adult Education Pattern Drafting Classes, a proprietor of her own drafting school and a proprietor for Aiko Fashions in Kealakekua and Kailua Kona. She was a member of Seiganji and Kona Koyasan Dashigi (club where she made unique gifts out of money). Service will be held at Kona Hongwanji Hall in Kealakekua on Saturday, August 18, 2012. Visitation at 10:30am, service at 11:30am. She is survived by her sons Wayne (Nancy) Watanabe of Kailua-Kona, Lance Watanabe of Kealakekua; daughters Diane Watanabe of Kealakekua, Janice Watanabe of Kealakekua; aunt Kiyoko (Herbert) Segawa of Hilo.
