Visitation will be held from 9-10:45am on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Iao Church; services will begin at 9am; burial will follow, 12pm, at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku.
Akira was a retired Teacher. He is survived by his wife, Carlyna Tosie; children, Carley Defang (Dom), Arleen Olmohs (Ainrich), Cathrina Tosie; sister, Mildred Irwin (Dennis); 18 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
