He was born on October 26, 1950 in Hana, Maui, and worked as a Supervisor for the County of Maui. He is survived by his Wife, Lois Akiona; Son, Allen Akiona Jr.; Daughter, Kristi Akiona; Mother, Emmaline Akiona; Brothers, James Akiona, Norman Akiona; Sisters, Evelyn Yamada, and Winona Enesa.
